Becoming a member

Everyone is welcome to join us. We're a community focused credit union.

In the past we did have some restrictions on who could join us, but that is no longer the case now.

We are a cooperative mutual owned by its members. As such, every adult member needs to complete an application for membership and purchase one $10 share which provides them with part ownership of our credit union and a vote in our future. Once you have supplied the appropriate forms of identification you will have full access to all the facilities our Credit Union offers.

Our shares don't return a dividend, and they're fully refundable if you resign your membership. All adult members have an equal shareholdings and same rights and responsibilities as other credit union members.

The rights and responsibilities you assume when you join the credit union include:

• the right to vote at a Special and Annual General Meetings on issues affecting our credit union
• the right to stand for or elect from the membership a Board of Directors who are given the responsibility of running our credit union on your behalf
• operating your credit union account in accordance with the Constitution of the credit union
