National Consumer Fraud Week commences next week kicking off on the 19^th of March and concluding on the 25^th of March. Fraud Week is all about educating consumers to recognise the methods scammers use in order to “slam the scammer” at the initial point of contact.

The Reserve bank has made the decision to hold off on a rate rise this month keeping the cash rate at 4.25. The announcement marks the second consecutive decision to keep rates steady for 2012 following a rate cut in November and December of last year.
